stopgoat is a Chrome extension that shows Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and X one post at a time, with short breaks. Answers to common questions are below.

How do I contact stopgoat support?

Email support@stopgoat.com. A real person reads every message.

For a bug, the fastest route is Settings → Feedback & Support inside stopgoat, which fills in your version and site for you. You're welcome to write in your own language.

A site looks wrong or stopped working in stopgoat. What should I do?

Turn stopgoat off and on from its top bar. That clears most one-off glitches.

If it keeps happening, use Report a problem on the card stopgoat shows, or Settings → Feedback & Support, with "Include technical details" ticked. Social sites change their pages often, and a report from the site where it happened is the fastest way to a fix.

What's included in a problem report?

The extension version, the site, your browser version and technical details about how stopgoat saw the page. Nothing is sent automatically.

The technical details are counts, states and settings. Post text, author names and titles are removed, and every link is reduced to its general shape (for example facebook.com/reel/<id>). You can read all of it before you send.

Which languages does stopgoat work in?

stopgoat reads sites in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Turkish and Russian.

If a site is in one of these and something looks wrong, please send a report. If your site is in another language, switching it to English is the quickest fix for now, and a report helps us add yours.

How do I change the language of stopgoat itself?

stopgoat uses your browser's language. Change your browser's language and stopgoat follows it.

If your browser's language isn't one of the thirteen above, stopgoat uses English.

How do I upgrade to, manage or cancel stopgoat Pro?

Open stopgoat Settings. The Plan card at the top shows your plan, with See Pro to upgrade and Manage to change or cancel.

You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

I paid on another computer or reinstalled. How do I get Pro back?

Choose See Pro → I already paid and enter the email address you paid with.

Can I get a refund for stopgoat Pro?

Yes, within 14 days of a charge. Email support@stopgoat.com and we'll refund that charge in full.

Where is my stopgoat data stored?

Only on your computer, in your browser's extension storage. Uninstalling stopgoat deletes it, so make a backup first.

How do I back up my Treasures or move them to another computer?

Open Treasures, choose Back up & restore, then Download backup.

• The file holds your Treasures, screengrabs, doodles and settings, and stays on your computer.
• To restore, open the same page, choose the file, and press Restore. Restoring only adds what you don't already have; it never deletes anything. Untick "Also restore settings" to keep your current ones.
• A backup never includes your plan. On a new computer, use See Pro → I already paid to restore Pro.
