Terms of Service

Effective September 17, 2026

These terms cover your use of the stopgoat browser extension ("stopgoat"), made by A Good Prompt to Live In, LLC ("we"). By installing or using stopgoat you agree to them.

What stopgoat is

stopgoat changes how supported social sites look in your own browser: one post at a time, with optional breaks. It does not change your accounts on those sites, and it is not made, endorsed or supported by them. Those sites change often; when they do, parts of stopgoat may stop working until we update it.

Free plan and Pro

stopgoat is free to use. stopgoat Pro adds the features listed in the extension and on our site for $2.99 per month or $29 per year (US dollars, plus any tax that applies where you live).

• Payments are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from stopgoat Settings → Plan → Manage. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Prices may change; any change applies from your next renewal after we tell you.

Refunds

If Pro isn't right for you, email support@stopgoat.com within 14 days of any charge and we will refund that charge in full. After 14 days, charges are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

Your content

Doodles, Treasures, screengrabs and photos you add stay on your computer and remain yours. We do not receive them. Keep your own backups: uninstalling stopgoat or clearing browser data deletes them.

Acceptable use

Use stopgoat in line with the terms of the sites you visit and the law. Do not use it to copy or redistribute other people's content in ways those sites or the law do not allow.

No warranty

stopgoat is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about stopgoat is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above will change and material changes will be announced in the extension. You can stop using stopgoat at any time by uninstalling it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA.
